Detection Principle
JC-1是一种广泛用于检测线粒体膜电位∆Ψm的理想荧光探针，可以检测细胞、组织或纯化的线粒体膜电位。在线粒体膜电位较高时，JC-1聚集在线粒体的基质中形成聚合物，可以产生红色荧光；在线粒体膜电位较低时，JC-1不能聚集在线粒体的基质中，此时JC-1为单体，可以产生绿色荧光。通过荧光颜色的转变即可检测线粒体膜电位的变化。

Notices
①JC-1（200×）低温条件下可能出现凝固，建议25℃水浴孵育至完全融解后使用；
②JC-1探针装载完成后需置于冰上低温放置，并在30 min内完成检测；
③若JC-1 Dyeing Buffer（5×）中出现沉淀，建议37℃水浴孵育至完全融解后使用；
④CCCP为线粒体电子传递链抑制剂，具有一定毒性，请注意做好防护；
注： 为保证结果准确且避免试剂损失，测定前请仔细阅读说明书（以实际收到说明书为准），确认试剂储存和准备是否充分，操作步骤是否清楚，且务必取2-3个预期差异交的样本进行预测定，过程中问题请您及时与工作人员联系。
